Remember back in the day when Azureus was power and new? Remember when we complained that it slowed our computers but was safe and powerful to use and the plugins made it worth it? We even put up with the Java and the file size just so we could be safer and have a powerful Torrent Client. Vuze is not like Azureus and should not be rated as such. First off it's gotten even more bloated and slows down your computer even more than before and since Azureus became Vuze, it's no longer as safe to use as before. It was right behind BitTorrent and uTorrent when it came to monitoring your download habbits.

The downsides are of course that it does monitor you downloading habbits. It's also bulky in size, slows down your computer, and needs Java to run.

We used to put up with the negatives because of the fact it was safer and had plugins to add more features. But with it's new privacy concerns and the fact there are ones with less privacy concerns that are smaller in size, ligher on resources and doesn't need Java ... I wouldn't recommend Vuze to anyone. Try a lmore resource friendly Torrent Client like BitSpirit instead.
